About GameShows.com

Last updated: September 6, 2026

GameShows.com is an independent fan site about American television game shows. We publish plain-English guides to the shows people watch every day: where each show is airing and streaming right now, how to become a contestant, how to get tickets to a taping, who has hosted over the years, and the moments and trivia that made each show famous. Alongside the guides, we cover game show news as it happens, from season premieres and format changes to record wins and casting calls.

Who We Are

GameShows.com is independently owned and operated in the United States. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any television network, studio, production company, or the producers of any show we write about. Show names, logos, and formats belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify and discuss the shows. Our images are original illustrations created for this site; they do not depict real hosts or contestants.

What We Cover

We maintain guides for sixteen shows, with the deepest coverage on the ones our readers ask about most: Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right, Family Feud, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Deal or No Deal. Every show has a hub page and a set of guides: how to play, how to watch, how to be a contestant, how to get tickets, about the hosts, and moments and trivia. Our news section covers the current television season.

How Our Content Is Made

Our guides are researched from primary sources: the shows' official websites and casting pages, network press announcements, contestant interviews, and the episodes themselves. We draft with the help of AI writing tools and every page is reviewed by the site's editor before it is published. Each guide shows a "Last updated" date, and we re-check the time-sensitive pages, especially how-to-watch and contestant guides, at the start of each television season and whenever a show announces a change.

We make mistakes like anyone else. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page or in the comments under the article, and we will fix it and note the correction.

Reader Comments

Most pages have a comment section where readers share memories, ask questions, and correct us. Comments are moderated for spam and abuse but not for opinion. Replies signed "GameShows.com" come from the editors. Please note that we are not the shows' producers: posting in our comments does not enter you in any casting process, and we always point readers to the official casting pages instead.

How We Make Money

GameShows.com is free to read. To cover the cost of running the site we may earn a commission when you sign up for a streaming service or buy a product through a link on our pages, and we may show advertising on articles and guides. Neither changes what we write. The details are in our affiliate and advertising disclosure.
