Comment Guidelines
Comments are where readers share favorite moments, argue about the best host, and swap tips for getting on a show. These guidelines keep that friendly and safe. They apply to every comment and reply on GameShows.com, alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You must be 18 or older
Commenting is for adults only. If you are under 18, please don’t post, reply, or share details about yourself here. If we have reason to believe a commenter is under 18, we will remove their comments.
We are a fan site, not the shows
GameShows.com is an independent fan site. We aren’t connected to any show, studio or network, and nothing posted here reaches a casting team. To apply to be a contestant, use the show’s own official casting page. Our guides include links to official casting pages where we have found them, but we can’t promise every one is listed or current.
Keep personal details out of comments
Comments are public. Anyone can read them, and search engines can index them. Please don’t post your phone number, email address or home address, or details about your family’s health or finances, and never post anyone else’s. If a comment exposes personal information, we may hide it or change the name it is shown under.
What isn’t allowed
- Anything unlawful, or anything that encourages illegal activity
- Harassment, threats, or personal attacks
- Hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, or age
- Sexual or explicit content
- Spam, advertising, links promoting your own business, and paid or incentivized posting
- Links to pirated shows or episodes, or anything else that infringes someone’s copyright
- Pretending to be someone else, including contestants, hosts, or show staff
- Other people’s private information
Disagreeing is fine. Some of our best threads are arguments about Fast Money strategy or which host did it best. Keep it about the idea, not the person.
How we moderate
We read new comments and moderate them ourselves. We may remove, hide, or edit any comment that breaks these guidelines, and we may block people who break them repeatedly. We don’t review every comment before it appears, so something may be visible for a while before we catch it. Moderation decisions are at our discretion. Replies signed “GameShows.com” come from us.
How to report a comment
Use the flag option on the comment itself, or send us a message through our contact page with a link to the page and the words of the comment. We review reports as soon as we can.
Your comments and your data
Comments are hosted by Hyvor Talk, a third-party commenting service. If you comment with a HYVOR account, you can edit or delete your own comments, and HYVOR handles requests to access or delete your account data through its privacy team. Comments posted as a guest can only be removed by a moderator, so if you would like a guest comment taken down, send the request through our contact page. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
