Premiere season is under way. Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune returned September 14 with a refreshed set and a new opening round, CBS and FOX followed the week of September 21, and Family Feud's 50th anniversary episodes began September 28. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune's seventh season premiered October 2, The CW's Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit have new episodes on Thursdays from October 1, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire returned to ABC's schedule on October 7. Here is the full calendar, in date order, with what's new on each show. Bookmark it; we will update the dates as networks confirm them.

September 14: Jeopardy!, Season 43 (Syndicated)

Ken Jennings returns to a refreshed stage. Executive producers Michael Davies and Sarah Whitcomb Foss described the changes on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast: new set columns, a richer lighting design, and a reset of the postseason qualification rules so viewers can tell exactly who has earned a tournament spot by season's end. Sony has locked the show in through the 2027 to 2028 broadcast season, and Davies teased "very big announcements" in the coming weeks. He also said a live version of the show is "something we will be talking about in the next few months." Paolo Pasco won the most recent Tournament of Champions and Andrew He took the Invitational, so expect both to figure into this season's postseason. Celebrity Jeopardy! September 14: Wheel of Fortune, Season 44 (Syndicated)

Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White return for a season with a genuinely new opening. The Fortune Frenzy replaces the two traditional toss-ups: for 30 seconds, all three contestants race through as many toss-up puzzles as they can, each worth $1,000, with only one guess allowed per puzzle. A wrong guess simply reveals the answer and the next puzzle appears, with no penalty. Expect five or six puzzles per round, and whoever solves the last one controls Round 1. Contestant chats move to the break between the first and second rounds. Episodes airing the week of September 21 went back to the two traditional toss-ups, as we explain here. September 21: Celebrity Name That Tune and Celebrity Weakest Link (FOX)

FOX doubled up on Monday night. Celebrity Name That Tune returned for Season 6 at 8:00 pm ET with host Jane Krakowski and bandleader Robin Thicke, followed at 9:00 pm by Season 2 of Celebrity Weakest Link, with Jane Lynch delivering the goodbyes. September 21: The Price Is Right and Let's Make a Deal (CBS)

CBS has confirmed its daytime premiere dates: both of its game shows returned Monday, September 21.

The Price Is Right, Season 55 (CBS)

Season 55 premiered Monday, September 21, Drew Carey's 20th season as host. (The Star Trek-themed episode broadcast on September 8 was a Season 54 episode marking the franchise's 60th anniversary, not a season opener.) With Drew Carey and announcer George Gray back, the season brings more changes than usual. Some episodes will feature a single model instead of the usual two or three, and the studio audience is being trimmed from roughly 160 to about 100 per taping. On the fun side, Wild Wheel Wednesdays add extra prizes to the Showcase Showdown, including a shot at more than $100,000, and Bendy Fridays promise free donuts for the whole audience if the wheel's pointer bends without flipping. CBS lists The Price Is Right at Night: Live Holiday Special for Sunday, Dec. 13 (8:00-9:00pm, ET/PT), its first live episode in 54 years on CBS. Let's Make a Deal, Season 18 (CBS)

Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum returned Monday, September 21 for Season 18. CBS says the season adds a new game, Cash Course, a ball-rolling obstacle course with a $10,000 top prize, and marks Brady's 3,000th episode as host with a special airing in January 2027.

September 23: The Floor, Season 6 and 99 to Beat, Season 2 (FOX)

Rob Lowe's grid-based trivia showdown is back Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ET. FOX gave the first episode an early Sunday airing on September 13, and, per TV Insider, the September 23 broadcast repeats it before new episodes continue on Wednesdays. The board is familiar, with 100 contestants, one giant floor and a $250,000 prize, but this season every player is a champion, title holder or record setter, and a new Power Shot lets a player act as a human randomizer. At 9:00 pm ET, FOX follows it with Season 2 of 99 to Beat, which the network bills as a million-dollar competition series, hosted by Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews.

September 28: Family Feud's 50th Anniversary (Syndicated)

Family Feud debuted on ABC on July 12, 1976 with Richard Dawson, and Steve Harvey's new season, which began September 28, marks the golden anniversary. The headline change: on ten special episodes this season, Fast Money is worth up to $50,000 instead of the usual $20,000, in partnership with BetMGM. As Harvey explained on Good Morning America, the winning family picks one of five envelopes and plays for the amount inside. The celebration extends off screen with a Carvel anniversary cake, a TGI Fridays board game, new Arkadium and Gameloft games, and a Twitch clip show. October 1: Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit (The CW)

The CW's two Hasbro board-game shows start new episodes on Thursday, October 1, continuing their second seasons: Scrabble, hosted by Craig Ferguson, at 8:00 pm, followed by Trivial Pursuit, hosted by LeVar Burton, at 9:00 pm. The CW has already renewed both for a third season, with premiere dates to be announced.

October 2: Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Season 7 (ABC)

The primetime celebrity edition returned on Friday, October 2, and airs Fridays at 8:00 pm ET, with stars playing for up to $1 million for charity. We have not yet confirmed whether the Fortune Frenzy carried over from the syndicated show.

October 7: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Fall Return (ABC)

Jimmy Kimmel's celebrity edition, whose fifth season premiered July 22, returned to ABC's schedule on Wednesday, October 7 at 9:02 pm ET. It takes the fall slot ABC first announced for Celebrity Jeopardy!, which has moved to 2027, and ABC's October 7 listing pairs Michael Keaton with Jon Lovett and Will Forte with Taran Killam. ABC lists Billy Porter and Leslie Odom Jr., followed by Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn, for October 14 (9:02-10:01 p.m. EDT). The October 28 season finale, also 9:02-10:01 p.m. EDT, pairs Sarah Jane Nader with Brooks Nader, followed by Colin Jost with Michael Che.

October 22: Jeopardy! YouTube Edition, Volume 2 (YouTube)

The YouTube special's second volume premieres Thursday, October 22 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on the Jeopardy! YouTube channel, with Ken Jennings hosting. Three YouTube creators play for charity: Angela Giarratana for The Trevor Project, Michelle Khare for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Mythical Chef Josh Scherer for Project Angel Food. Coming Later: Midseason and 2027

  • Celebrity Jeopardy! (ABC): Season 5, first announced for this fall, now premieres in 2027.
  • Wordle (NBC): Savannah Guthrie hosts a new primetime game show based on The New York Times puzzle, with teams racing to solve five-letter words for cash. NBC says it debuts in 2027.
  • Don't Forget the Lyrics! (FOX): listed by FOX among the series premiering later in the 2026–27 season, with no date yet.
  • Stacks of Cash (CBS): a new quiz show hosted by Mike O'Malley. Six contestants answer questions to earn blocks of different shapes, then stack them toward a gold line; one wrong move can bring the stack down. CBS ordered it on September 30 and will announce its timing later.

Launched This Summer

Several shows started new seasons over the summer:

  • Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (ABC): Season 5 premiered July 22, and new episodes returned to ABC's schedule on October 7 (see above). Its biggest moment so far was Ben Affleck and Jamie Ding's $1 million win on July 29.
  • Press Your Luck (ABC): Season 7 with Elizabeth Banks premiered July 9.
  • Celebrity Family Feud (ABC): Season 12 premiered July 9.
  • Password (NBC): Season 3 with Keke Palmer and Jimmy Fallon premiered June 2.
  • The Wall (NBC): New Season 6 episodes returned July 20, including the show's 100th episode on August 24.
  • ESPN Jeopardy! (Hulu, Disney+, ESPN app): Joe Buck's sports-trivia spinoff launched July 31 with a $500,000 charity prize. A second season, announced September 28, swaps celebrities for sports fans playing for $300,000, and applications are open now.
