GameShows.com now has a daily game of its own. Answer Me! is a free trivia quiz with ten questions a day, the same set for every player, and a Bonus Round about the game shows we cover. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
How it works
A new game appears every day at midnight Eastern. You get fifteen seconds for each of the ten questions, and each one has four choices. After every answer you see a one-line explanation of why the right answer is right, with a link to where you can read more.
You can play once a day in each browser, so everyone faces the same ten questions on equal terms.
Scoring
A right answer is worth 100 points, plus up to 50 more for answering quickly. Questions 9 and 10 are the Bonus Round: two questions about game shows from every era, from What's My Line? to today's prime-time hits, and both the points for a right answer and the points for speed count double there. A perfect game scores 1,800.
Leaderboards and sharing
Pick a nickname to appear on the leaderboards for today, this week and this month. The nickname is kept in your browser, so there is still no account to create. When you finish, you can copy your result to share with friends, without giving away the answers.
What kind of questions?
History, geography, science, sports, classic film, television and music, general knowledge, and of course game shows. If a question ever looks wrong, the Report this question button under each answer sends it straight to us.
Some questions are adapted from the Open Trivia Database (CC BY-SA 4.0).
