It's early, but the 2027 game show calendar is already starting to fill in. Think of this as a sneak preview: what networks and streamers have confirmed so far, what has been renewed without a date, and what is still in the works. We'll add details here as they're announced.

Confirmed for 2027

Monopoly (Netflix, fall 2027). The board game becomes a competition series: 12 players inside a life-size Monopoly Town Square make money, buy property and cut deals, players who go bankrupt are knocked out one at a time, and the last one left wins $2 million. It comes from Studio Lambert, the producer behind Squid Game: The Challenge, and Netflix's announcement includes a link to audition.

Wordle (NBC). Savannah Guthrie hosts a new primetime game show built on The New York Times puzzle, with teams racing to solve five-letter words for cash. Jimmy Fallon's company produces it with Universal Television Alternative Studio and The Times, and NBC says it debuts in 2027. Casting is open now: the official casting site NBC lists is looking for teams of three.

Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 5 (ABC). ABC first put the fifth season on its fall 2026 schedule, then moved it to 2027 and gave the slot to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. No premiere date yet.

Let's Make a Deal (CBS). CBS says a special episode in January 2027 will mark Wayne Brady's 3,000th as host.

Renewed, With Dates to Come

  • Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit (The CW): both renewed in August for third seasons of new one-hour episodes. The CW will announce premiere dates later.
  • Don't Forget the Lyrics! (FOX): on FOX's list of series premiering later in the 2026–27 season, with no date yet.

Milestones to Watch

The Price Is Right turns 55. The current version premiered on CBS on September 4, 1972, so September 2027 marks 55 years. We'll add any anniversary plans here if CBS announces them.

Still in the Works

  • A live Jeopardy!: executive producer Michael Davies said on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast ahead of Season 43 that the show needs a live version, calling it "something we will be talking about in the next few months." Nothing is scheduled yet.
  • Deal or No Deal: after NBC cancelled Deal or No Deal Island in December 2025, reporting indicates a revival of the classic studio version is being shopped to networks. No network, host or date has been announced.
