The Chase: Studio Audience Tickets

The short answer: there is very little to attend. Regular episodes of the UK original on ITV are recorded without a studio audience, and the American ABC version ended after Season 3 in 2023 and is no longer in production. The one exception is the UK show’s celebrity specials, which do take an audience when they record.

The UK Show: No Audience for Regular Episodes

The British version of The Chase is recorded at Elstree, in Hertfordshire, near London; it moved there in March 2014. A writer who watched a celebrity edition being made in 2018 reported that the regular episodes are filmed at Elstree without an audience, with the laughter added afterwards. So there are no tickets to request for an ordinary episode.

The Exception: The Chase Celebrity Specials

The celebrity specials are recorded in front of an audience, and tickets are handled by SRO Audiences, a UK audience company. When we checked in October 2026 it had no recording dates and was taking names for its mailing list, to be told when booking opens. What its page says:

• The venue is Elstree Film & TV Studios, Shenley Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
• The minimum age is 18
• Up to four tickets per application
• Booking usually opens a few weeks before a recording
• Tickets are free, and a ticket does not guarantee entry

The US Version (2021–2023)

ABC’s version, hosted by Sara Haines, ran for three seasons, and ABC has not announced whether it will return. We have not been able to confirm how, or whether, audience tickets were offered for it, so this page makes no claims about them.

If the US Version Returns

If an American version returns with a studio audience, we will update this page.
